In Australia 1 in 5 women and 1 in 22 men are victims of sexual assault, and on average 1 woman a week is murdered through violence.
CASA is an organisation that offers services specifically for victims/ survivors of sexual assault, as well as family members who are effected.
Andrea Caia - Manager of Trauma Informed Services at Goulburn Valley Health - talks about GV Center Against Sexual Assault, the services it provides, and why it is essential.
