Description:
Katie Johnston from Queensland shares how after some major hardships and disappointments, she started crafting jewellery out of building scraps and materials. Katie has shared her knowledge and skills into communities around the world that have been devastated by earthquakes and other disasters in order to teach the people how to also turn their rubble into something beautiful and income-building.
When life gives you lemons, what do you do about it? Do you just curl up and cry, or do you turn those lemons into something delicious like lemonade. A poem (altered to feminine) from the (1940's?) is read and some lemon-using recipes are shared.
